netSlingers – Reality TV

netSlingers – Reality TV – Secrets of the Internet Millionaire.
Now this is a reality show I can’t wait to see. I have no interest to be on the show, but I am certain to tune into this show when it airs. I’m a little worried though. I think this show will be excellent, but it will spark a new interest in affiliate marketing and a flood of new faces trying to make it big themselves. I think the show is going to make it much harder to succeed as if it wasn’t hard enough as it is.
Thinking about it now. I’m dreading the airing of this show. I haven’t had any success yet and now we’re going to be overwhelmed with other people trying to get their piece of the action. At least majority of the new faces will give up anyways when they see it’s not a get rich quick business.
Any thoughts?
An update.
February 23, 2007
Although I have no updates to say that I’m rolling in the money now, I do have a couple updates to give.
Update 1: I created a site called Pixels 4 Kindness. This is more of a personal site rather than a money making site. Although not launched yet you can follow the progress by subscribing to my feed. Basically the site has one purpose. To sell advertising space (pixel ads) and donate 80% of the sale to a cause. If you want to learn more about what the site is actually about, read my about Pixels 4 Kindness page.
Update 2: I created another site called Grind your Beans. I’m a coffee lover and thought it would be interesting to have a blog regarding coffee. I know there’s a lot of competition in the coffee niche, but I’m hoping the site does bring in a little adsense or affiliate income.
Update 3: I created a “shell” so to speak to allow me to quickly create sites that are adsense based. I guess you could call them adsense sites. There are a few niches that I would like to try and market, but I don’t have any personal interest in that niche. I know it’s important to market to things you know, love, or at least have an interest in. So that’s why I’m going to have my own sites that I’ll maintain (like Pixels 4 Kindness, and Grind your Beans, etc) that I have an interest in, and then have other sites (adsense sites) that won’t be maintained by me, but will updated every once in a while to keep the content fresh.
That’s it for now!

Keyword Forecast
February 15, 2007
I was just looking around the Microsoft AdCenter Labs site and came across another tool called Keyword Forecast.
This tool will show you the search trends of your entered keywords as well as the age and gender of the searchers. I thought this was a pretty cool tool as well.
Here’s the results of my query:
Demographic Predictions
February 15, 2007
I have to thank Ed Dale again for this one. Ed just informed me (via his blog, lol) of a tool available from Microsoft where you can enter any keyword you like and they’ll predict the demographic associated with that keyword. The tool is located on the Microsoft AdCenter Labs site and it’s called Demographic Predictions.
I just tried it and thought it was pretty cool. If you doing market research this is another valuable tool to have under your belt.
As a test, I entered “dogs” and discovered it’s mostly female-oriented. I would have made the guess that it was male-oriented. As they say a dog is man’s best friend!
Here’s the results I received:
Query: dogs
Gender: Female-oriented, with the following confidence:
0:39
0:61
