As things pick up, my posts slow down.

March 19, 2007

Sorry about the lack of posting.  I’ve been busy working on my Grind your Beans and the Pixels 4 Kindness sites.  I’m devoting all my free time to these two projects which doesn’t leave a lot of time to post here!  I’m hoping this hard work will pay off.

Talk to you later,
Shannon

Think happy thoughts. :)

March 7, 2007

Every once in a while you have a string of bad luck.  Depending on who you speak with some would say that I brought the bad luck by thinking negative thoughts, others would say these things just happen.

I could make myself upset and worry about the bad luck I’ve been having lately and worry about the outcome, but I refuse to.  I know I brought most of the bad luck upon myself, but not by choice.  I could say I’m a victim of my reality, but reality is what I make of it.

I choose to be positive in light of the situation. I am carving my future and know I’ll have an accident or two along the way.  My path is clearer now than it has been for many years and I know that success is not a dream but a reality.  Yeah, I’ll have bad things happen, and yeah things won’t go as planned, but I will continue to push forward and I know my day will come.

As a motivation, I sing a verse in a song that says “I get knocked down, but I get up again.  You ain’t never going to keep me down”.

So as negative things happen, I choose to ignore them and think the happy thoughts of my success and my final destination for my family.

Focused and taking action..

March 4, 2007

Ok, so I am focused and taking action.  I have been extremely busy with my Grind your Beans coffee blog.  I’m really pleased with it so far.  Considering coffee is a booming industry, it’s not hard to find things to blog about.

I’m wondering if I should narrow my site to cater to a more specific niche.   To be honest, I’m actually thinking of starting a 2nd blog that caters to a very specific niche in the coffee market that I think would be really good.  I don’t want to spread myself too thin, but this 2nd blog should be really easy to maintain.  It’s such a specific niche that sorting through the thousands of sites, products, presses releases, etc should be easy because I’m only going to be just looking for one specific thing.  I’ll keep you posted if this 2nd blog becomes a reality.

As for making money with Grind your Beans.  I have only made a few cents from Google so far, but hey the site has only been online for a week!  I’m sure in time as more and more content is added the site should get more traffic and generate more revenue.  Once the site is generating enough traffic I will apply for the paid text links and reviewme programs to create multiple streams of income.
