Hi, I’ve been referred by Linda’s great site.
Yes, congrats on getting started with affiliate marketing. I started last September. I earned exactly six dollars that month, and spent more than that on PPC and domain names. In October, I earned about $80 in commissions. In November, I was $390 in the black. By this time I had started six different affiliate sites. All of them were losers except one, despite having researched the markets extensively using the techniques you have described above plus some others. I poured all my time and energy into that one site, and my December profit was over $6,000. How’s that for a testament to focus?
IT CAN BE DONE. It will take a few tries and a lot of mistakes, but persistent focus will pay off. Learn something every day and work at least a little bit on your site every day.
I would like to suggest that your list of mentors include Jeremy Palmer at quityourdayjob.com. I cannot recommend his eBook and training highly enough.

Congratulations on your success! I love/hate hearing about other people’s success with affiliate marketing. The reason why I say love/hate is because I love that other people are getting into this and having success. I say hate because I’m jealous and mad that I haven’t seen any success myself.
I’m not too worried though because I know my time will come. I just need to stop talking about it and just do it!
