A quick update at 3am…

January 8, 2008 · Print This Article

As I mentioned before, I have the entire month of January mapped out into a daily action plan based on the TDC strategy.

Today was day 7 of the first week and my day of rest (or catch up) and I celebrated my successful week by watching the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie.

I must admit that I’m very pleased with how this week turned out.  I followed my daily tasks and except for a few things out of my control (internet issues, slow computer, etc) it was a very productive week.

So with that, I start a new week tomorrow.  It’s 3:00 am here now, so I’m just going to be off to bed.  If time allows next week and I can get through my workload, I’ll give you guys a better update on this week. :)

As Ed would say… Speak soon,

I can’t tell you what an inspiring post this is, Shannon. I hadn’t thought about a daily action plan, but I think it’s time to do just that.

January is a great month for motivation!

    Hey Belle,

Thanks, I’m glad you were inspired by my post! :)

Yeah, a daily action plan makes such a difference and it’s not just the fact of knowing what you’re going to be doing.

Having your month mapped out and knowing that you really can’t put anything off because you’ll lose your days of rest forces your mind to just accept the fact you have to do it.

I hate writing content and it’s the one thing that I put off as much as possible. Having a daily action plan that requires me to create the content before I can continue to the next day’s activities forces me to do it.

Not to mention that everything I don’t get done is more I have to do on my day of rest… and my day of rest is very important to me.. I don’t want to lose it.

So I’ll do what I can to get my activities done before the 7th day, so I can rest and watch a movie or do whatever I feel like.
