January Niche – A dud, but made a sale!

February 2, 2008

I’m come to realize that I’m just not going to be able to provide updates as often as I like! There’s just not enough time in the day when you got a full time job, two young kids, and projects to be completed. :)

So, January is over and results were ok. The niche turned out to be a dud in respect to being a useful niche to start. There was too much web 2.0 competition already in place that I overlooked during the research stage.

I did get a sale however, which was excellent! Considering when you look at the stats.

Total traffic from web 2.0 content: 88 visitors
Total Clicks: Unknown – didn’t have click tracking software in place at the time.
Total Sales: 1

Week Two Review

January 14, 2008

Well… Another week is over…  I am pleased that I managed to get another week done without getting distracted by other things.  I fell a little behind this week, but managed to get caught up today.  I’m glad I decided to take the 7th day of each week as a day of rest or catch up. It really came in handy.

I’m still hoping to be able to get ahead of my work and have a little free time to give you guys an idea on exactly what I’m doing for the last two weeks and an update on the progress of my project.

Well, gotta run folks.

Speak soon,

p.s.  This post was created directly in this browser I just installed.  It’s called flock and it seems pretty awesome.  I like the tools that are part of the browser to keep up to date on twitter, facebook, rss feeds, etc…  Plus the fact that I can post directly to my blog while I’m anywhere on the net is cool.

A quick update at 3am…

January 8, 2008

As I mentioned before, I have the entire month of January mapped out into a daily action plan based on the TDC strategy.

Today was day 7 of the first week and my day of rest (or catch up) and I celebrated my successful week by watching the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie.

I must admit that I’m very pleased with how this week turned out.  I followed my daily tasks and except for a few things out of my control (internet issues, slow computer, etc) it was a very productive week.

So with that, I start a new week tomorrow.  It’s 3:00 am here now, so I’m just going to be off to bed.  If time allows next week and I can get through my workload, I’ll give you guys a better update on this week. :)

As Ed would say… Speak soon,
