Twitter + AutoResponder = TwitResponse

twitterTwitter is one of those sites that you can’t appreciate until you start using it. I enjoy twitter. It’s a great way to keep up to date with people.

It’s used to let others know what you’re doing, but it can also be used to communicate with people. It’s not really meant to be a chat between people so when there are excess amounts of @SOMEONE posts it becomes annoying fast.

This is the problem that I had. Working full time and being a father of two, I don’t get a lot of time to post to twitter and respond to others.

Usually I spend a few minutes going through the posts of the day and responding to others. But for others who follow me on twitter, this is annoying because once a day they see a bunch of @SOMEONE responses from me.

So one day I noticed that Caroline made a comment about wishing there was a way to schedule twitter posts. This is the same thing I wished for. That was enough to get me motivated to develop this service.

Less than 48 hours later… TwitResponse was born.

TwitResponse allows you schedule posts for the future. Similar to an autoresponder that lets you pre-write email messages to be sent out a specific intervals, TwitResponse will let you pre-write twitter posts.

Check it out for yourself. TwitResponse.com

    Thanks Barb!

Yeah, I had a need to schedule posts in advance and couldn’t find a good tool, so I wrote it myself!

If there’s anything you want added, let me know. The site went from thought to reality in less than 48 hours, so I didn’t put a lot of time into adding a lot of functionality! :)

I wanted it working well and online asap.

p.s. keep an eye out for another site that I’m creating. I have everything done on paper… just need to find the time to design it and write the code for it. ;)

    Hi Shannon,
Really like your program!! Is there any way to schedule a post for multiple times without doing them one at a time?
Thanks for the great program and help!
